TCP/IP SETTING MANUAL

 Configure IP On Windows 10




Open Start on Windows 10.

Search for the control panel or find the control panel tab on the startup bar.





Click on the “view network status and tasks” under the Network and Internet





                       Click on the connection as shown in the diagram. For this case the connections used is Wi-Fi. If you using a LAN connection, the process is still the same as this.





Click on the Properties tab.






Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) just like in the diagram.



Then, click on Properties




The Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties will show like this. You can set the IP address either using DHCP server by clicking “Obtain an IP address automatically”. If the user wanted to set the IP address on static, click on “use the following IP address”.





By clicking this option, the user will be able to set the IP address manually. The IP address, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS must be correct in order to connect to this network. Finally, click okay to apply this setting.
